Overview
The SX series hydrocyclone produced by PT INDO ASIA SOLUSI has simple configuration, low production cost, high capacity, high separation efficiency, strong adjustability and adaptability etc features. The hydrocyclone takes water as medium, which realizes the separation by the density difference of particles, that is the gravity separation method. The slurry with coarse slime were fed into multi-cone hydrocyclone with pressure and then it rotates along the wall of cyclone barrel. Under the effect of centrifugal force and gravity, the high density materials pass through the air column gradually and then flow to the cyclone external rotation flow but the low density materials gradually enter to the central air column in the cyclone so as to realise the separation of materials by the density.

Technical

• • The simple structure design, small occupation area, low production cost, high separation accuracy (EP value≤0.125, separation efficiency ＞85%) and high adaptability these features can help to realize the high-efficient separation of coarse slime without the adding of dense medium.
• • Take the adjustable vortex finder, which can adjust the inserting depth of vortex finder on liner so as to effectively control the separation indicator of coarse slime.
• • Take the multi-cone structure and combine 3-5 cones with different cone angles in accordance with the coal properties of benefication coal slime so as to improve the adaptability and separation accuracy of coarse slime with different properties.

Application
Hydrocyclone is usually applied in the separation process of minerals with fine particles, whose density varies to a greatere extent, like coarse slime separation.
